First of all – No Bob – it is NOT true that all potus’ have done this – not even close. Comparing a President having policies involving other countries – to asking a country to look into your political opponents = no where near the same. Not even close. Apples to oranges.
Like wise – this is not going to set precedence to keep other leaders from being candid with a U.S. Potus. But it MIGHT keep other leaders from allowing conversations to segue into corrupt and questionable tactics, like asking a foreign country to look into political opponents !!!!!! Gee, it might keep the conversation in a moral compass mode!!! Imagine that.
You also said – Obama had done plenty that the REpubs could have leaned towards impeachment for – things that were worse than what Trump has done. But your list was a bunch of debunked FAR right extremist fake news !!! Infact you mentioned Benghazi as one. Oh no – for real ? The Benghazi that was investigated 8 times by the Repubs and all of them had the same results ??? There was no grounds for impeachment nor was there any wrong doing found by the Repubs who ran the 8 investigations !!
you also mentioned the Uranium 1 outdated – yet brought up again during the elections – phony scandal. The “Hillary Sold Uranium to Russia” story was a lie 7 years ago, and it still is today:
• Russia did not buy uranium from the U.S., but bought an interest in a Canadian company that has uranium assets around the world including the US.
• The transaction was approved by nine separate government agencies and the government of Canada.
• The State Department approval was handled by career professionals who have said that Hillary did not influence.
• The transaction does not allow Russia to get any of the U.S. uranium, because export of uranium from the U.S. requires a separate license
Let’s stick to Christian themes instead of pushing RW rhetoric and lame excuses /comparisons.
